There are times when teachers want to be sure that an assessment has no influence on the overall calculation of progress toward proficiency. In those cases, it is possible to completely exclude those results from the calculations.
1) To exclude the results of an assessment, navigate to the assessment that you would like to exclude. Select the three dots next to the name of the assessment that you would like to exclude.
2) Select the three dots and a window similar to the below screenshot will open. Exclude the assessment from proficiency calculations by dragging the first option to the left.
3) Should you wish to verify that an assessment has been excluded, select the drop down arrow next to an assessment's name. A view similar to the below will open with a message, "This assessment has been excluded and will not be used in calculating proficiency," if the assessment was successfully excluded.
Excluding assessments will impact all calculations toward proficiency for the students in your class. You may need to refresh your page in order for those calculations to update after you have excluded an assessment.
